RENU is an urban planting initiative of the South Coastal District to partner with urban disciple-makers to plan healthy, multiplying churches in the City of Atlanta. Our RENU leadership team is a diverse group of leaders with decades of ministry and church planting experience in the urban context.

Starting and Restarting churches in the urban core looks different than what many of us are used to in the Wesleyan Church. We are, therefore, excited to dream with you about unique and contextualized church planting expressions in Atlanta! As we read Acts 2:42-47, we see the Church as a group of Christ followers who consistently gather to eat, pray, explore the Bible, and engage their church family and local community with the love of Jesus.
